Hello! Hello! My very first blog and I'd like to share the birthday card I made for my sister. I just recently fell addicted to The Greeting Farm stamps when I went to the Scrapbook Expo this summer! I just think the stamps are all adorable and cute! I couldn't get enough, that I had to search all scrapbook stores near me just to see if they sold them. My other sister found that they were sold in Berkeley, CA, so even with a long drive, we went to looky looky. We ended up buying a few and went home happy! With the new addiction I have with these stamps, I also had to learn how to color with COPIC markers! I've seen these markers before and know that they aren't cheap. But COPICS and the Greeting Farm stamps just went hand in hand, so I had to learn a new technique with blending these markers. Anyways, here is the card:
The stamp I used from the Greeting Farm is Latte Anya. Isn't she adorb?! I popped her up with foam adhesives. I used my Cuttlebug to cut and emboss the circles, Tim Holtz's distress ink to shade around the sentiment and the purple Prima flower was attached with a brad. I still need a lot more practice blending and shading with the Copic markers, but overall I think it wasn't bad for my first time - my sister loved the card, and my other sister (who also loves these stamps) complimented that it came out really good! So, I'm happy! I hope to make more cards or projects with these cuties soon!
